ATLANTIC REFIT CENTER: progrès du refit de Norna

Le chantier de refit mené par Atlantic Refit Center sur le navire « Norna » avance à grands pas. Les travaux de transformation des superstructures et de renforcements structurels internes sont avancés à 70% conformément au planning. L’avant de la future cabine Armateur a été déposée et sera remplacée par la nouvelle superstructure la semaine prochaine. La préfabrication des autres blocs est en cours de finition. Les 2 prochaines semaines seront consacrées à la mise en place des blocs de chaudronnerie complets : Hélideck, Cabine Armateur et blocs Cheminées avant la mise en cale sèche du navire à la fin du mois.

Norna’ refit by Atlantic Refit Center is making good progress: structure transformation and internal structure reinforcement are 70% done, as according to schedule. The front structure of the future owner’s cabin has just been removed and will be replaced in a few days by the new one. The other prefabricated blocks are soon ready. The next two weeks will be dedicated to the fitting of the helicopter deck, the owner’s cabin and the chimneys; then the ship will go into the dry docks at the end of the month.
